LED Wall Pack 60W — WP/60W
Switchable wattage and colour temperature commercial wall pack with built-in photocell.
The Plusrite WP/60W is a heavy-duty LED wall pack designed for commercial and industrial entryways, building exteriors, loading docks and pathway lighting. The fixture is switchable between 30W, 45W and 60W output (3,600 to 7,500 lumens) and 3000K, 4000K or 5000K colour temperature, so a single product covers a wide range of installation scenarios.
A built-in photocell sensor switches the light on at dusk and off at dawn automatically, and a flex-in plug means installation is faster and tidier than hardwired alternatives.
Why choose the WP/60W LED wall pack
- 3-in-1 wattage. Switch between 30W, 45W and 60W on-site to match the installation without changing fixtures.
- 3-in-1 colour temperature. Choose 3000K (warm), 4000K (neutral) or 5000K (cool daylight) at install or any time after.
- 3,600 to 7,500 lumens. Bright, even output suitable for commercial entryways, walkways and building exteriors.
- IP65 weatherproof. Withstands rain, dust and Australian outdoor conditions.
- Built-in photocell. Automatic dusk-to-dawn operation, no external timer required.
- 0–10V dimmable. Compatible with standard 0–10V dimmer systems for further energy savings.
- Flex-in plug. No hardwiring required for installation in suitable mounting boxes.
- Dark bronze die-cast aluminium housing with high-impact borosilicate glass lens — built for harsh exterior environments.
- 5-year warranty. Direct from Plusrite Australia.

Where the WP/60W wall pack works best
Commercial entryways and exteriors. Office buildings, retail premises, medical centres and any front entry needing reliable, bright illumination through the night.
Loading docks and service areas. Rear and side walls of warehouses, distribution centres, workshops and factory loading bays.
Pathway and walkway lighting. Exterior pedestrian routes around commercial premises, schools, aged-care facilities and apartment complexes.
Stairwells and external corridors. Fire stairs, external apartment walkways and other transit areas requiring continuous overnight lighting.
Landscape and architectural lighting. Building facades, courtyards and feature walls where wattage and colour can be tuned to the installation.
The 60W maximum setting throws roughly 7,500 lumens — bright enough to clearly illuminate a typical commercial entryway or 8 to 10 metre wide walkway from a 3 to 4 metre mounting height.
Comparing the Plusrite wall pack range
| Model | Wattage range | Lumen range | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| WP/60W (this product) | 30W / 45W / 60W | 3,600 – 7,500 lm | Standard commercial entryways, walkways, building exteriors |
| WP/100W | 70W / 85W / 100W | 8,400 – 12,500 lm | Larger commercial premises, loading docks, industrial wall lighting |
Both models share the same housing, IP65 rating, photocell, dimming and 5-year warranty. The 100W model steps up the output for larger areas or higher mounting heights.
Installation
The WP/60W is supplied with mounting hardware and a flex-in plug. We recommend the following:
- Choose the wattage and colour temperature before installation using the on-fixture switches. Both can be changed later if needed.
- Mount the fixture at 2.5 to 4 metres for typical entryway and walkway applications. Higher mounting (4 to 6 metres) suits loading docks and larger commercial exteriors.
- Connect via flex-in plug to a suitable mounting box, or hardwire if your installation requires it.
- Verify the photocell sensor is unobstructed — it sits on the front of the fixture and needs ambient light visibility to function.
For commercial installations, mounting and electrical connection should be performed by a licensed electrician.
Frequently asked questions
What’s the difference between the 30W, 45W and 60W settings?
The setting controls the actual power draw and brightness of the fixture. 30W produces around 3,600 lumens, 45W around 5,500 lumens, and 60W around 7,500 lumens. Choose the setting that matches the brightness needed for the location — running at a lower setting reduces electricity costs and extends LED life.
How do I change the wattage and colour temperature?
The fixture has on-board switches accessible during installation (and accessible later if the fixture is opened). Set both the wattage (30/45/60W) and colour temperature (3K/4K/5K) before mounting. There is no remote control for these settings.
Is the photocell adjustable?
The photocell is a fixed dusk-to-dawn sensor with no sensitivity adjustment. It activates the light automatically when ambient light drops below normal evening levels and switches off at dawn.
Can I dim it?
Yes, the WP/60W supports 0–10V dimming. You will need a compatible 0–10V dimmer driver wired into the circuit. The fixture is not compatible with leading-edge or trailing-edge wall dimmers commonly used for residential lighting.
Will it survive Australian weather?
Yes. The IP65 rating means the fixture is fully sealed against dust ingress and resistant to water jets from any direction — suitable for any standard outdoor mounting application including coastal areas, rural properties and exposed walls.
What height should I mount it at?
For typical commercial entryways and walkways, 2.5 to 4 metres is ideal. Higher mounting (4 to 6 metres) works well for larger areas and loading docks. The 90° beam angle provides good vertical and horizontal coverage from these heights.
Does it come with mounting hardware?
Yes, standard mounting hardware is included for surface mounting onto a flat wall surface. For specialist installations (corner mounts, brick wall anchors, junction-box mounts), additional hardware may be required.
What warranty applies?
Five years from the date of purchase when bought direct from Plusrite Australia or an authorised reseller. The warranty covers the LED, driver and housing.
