Efficient, fast charging portable EV charger

Both wall-mountable and portable, take the Plusrite Portable EV Charger with you on the move for quick and efficient fast-charge anywhere there is a three-phase power outlet. Within 10 seconds after switching on, the charger is ready to use following the automated self-check process. Simply plug it into the outlet, insert the charge gun into your EV and use the touch screen or RFID card to start charging.

The indicator light notifies you when charging is complete and charging will stop automatically when your EV battery is fully charged, or as programmed by you. Charging can be interrupted manually at any time via the stop button, RFID card or smart app. Five RFID cards are included with your charger for ‘swipe to start’ charging (more available for purchase if required) and added security for your commercial fleet.

Smart, user-friendly features with remote monitoring

Wifi and Bluetooth connectivity allows you to control the charger remotely and customise and monitor your usage via the Smart App. Optimise your time and schedule by pre-programming your charge settings and schedule charging, view charger status and monitor charging progress in real time. The app can also set timed and weekly reservation charging, allowing you to control and oversee authorised charging for your commercial fleet. Bind the EV Charger to your phone and reset the password when needed, to prevent theft.

What are the standards IEC 62752 and IEC 61851-21-2?

IEC is the International Electrotechnical Commission and the IECEE is the IEC System of Conformity Assessment Schemes for Electrotechnical Equipment and Components. The standards address the following components:

• IEC 62752 In-cable control and protection device (IC-CPD) for mode 2 charging of electric road vehicles
• IEC 61851-21-2 Electric vehicle requirements for conductive connection to an AC/DC supply – EMC requirements for off-board electric vehicle charging systems

What does IP65 mean?

An “IP” Code classifies and rates the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects, dust, accidental contact and water in electronic equipment or electrical enclosures. An ingress protection rating of IP65, means that the product is dust proof and protected from low-pressure water-jet sprays from every direction.
