The Plusrite Portable EV Charger is designed for easy installation. Ensure the parking position is within the range of the charging cable and install in a well-ventilated space. The charger is compatible with a wide range of electric vehicles, making it a versatile choice for any EV owner.

Charging process

  • Starting the charge: Insert the power plug into a fixed socket, then insert the charging gun into the vehicle. Use the touch screen or RFID card to start the charging process.
  • Monitoring: The charger performs a self-check upon powering on, indicated by a white LED light. Normal operation is shown by a white breathing light, while any faults are indicated by a red light.
  • Stopping the charge: Charging stops automatically when the EV is fully charged. To manually stop, press the stop button on the charger or use the RFID card. Ensure to unplug the charging gun and power plug after use.

Safety and maintenance

  • Safety precautions: Avoid using the charger near combustible or flammable materials. Do not immerse the charger in water or use it in extreme temperatures outside the specified range. Ensure the charger is grounded during use and do not attempt to repair or maintain it yourself.
  • Storage: Store the charger in a safe environment with minimal vibration and impact when not in use. Avoid storing the charger in temperatures outside the range of -40°C to 85°C to prevent damage.
