It features optimum durability and reliability with sturdy construction and high-rated enclosure protection, for harsh outdoor and public environments. The range of power options and operating modes provide high versatility and usability for urban, commercial and industrial settings.

Solar batten light with modern, energy-efficient power options

The Plusrite Solar Batten Light is adjustable to either 4W or 6W and comes with three working modes, meaning you can customise your power use and illumination settings to your requirements. Set the unit to operate either 24/7 or from dusk till dawn (12 hours), in one of the following modes:

The unit flashes once, twice or three times to indicate mode. These modes mean the unit can be in operation ‘as needed’, saving energy and preserving battery life and the overall longevity of the unit.

The Plusrite Solar Batten Light runs entirely on solar, making it ideal for installations where access to mains power is tricky or not possible (no electrical cabling needed). Daylight-sensing ‘bi-facial’ solar panels collect both direct and indirect (reflected) sunlight, for maximised energy collection and solar availability, with a charge time of just 5-7 hrs. An additional solar panel can be added to achieve an even faster charge time of 3-5 hours if needed (quote product PLS-BAT-12AH-2SP).

Practical solar batten light, versatile for many spaces

The Plusrite Solar Batten Light has a lumen output of 800-1200 lumens, offering moderate to bright illumination (depending on the ‘working mode’ selected). This versatility makes it excellent for not only high visibility requirements like car parks and building perimeters, but also enclosed or ambient spaces such as shipping containers or walkways, with adjustability to suit your needs (or operations).

The correlated colour temperature (CCT) can be adjusted to either 4000K or 5000K, for either neutral or cool tones. The 4000K CCT emits a neutral white light suitable for general indoor and outdoor applications, creating a comfortable environment without being too harsh or too yellow. The 5000K CCT option produces a cooler white light with a slightly bluish tint (similar to natural daylight) ideal for security lighting and work spaces where clear visibility is important.

Safe, tough and protected in high-risk areas

The Plusrite Solar Batten Light is designed and constructed for optimum durability in exposed, high-risk environments such as industrial facilities and public spaces. Its high impact resistance rating of IK10 allows it to sustain hard knocks without damage and protects against vandalism for ongoing reliability and extended life. The IP65-rated enclosure protects it from dust infiltration and water jet sprays, ensuring effective operation in harsh weather and tough industrial conditions.

The Plusrite Solar Batten Light is built to Australian Standards and quality tested with SSA Approval (Electrical Product Safety Approval Certification), RCM compliance (Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS)) and RoHS compliance (Restriction of Hazardous Substances (or Directive 2002/95/EC)).
