Description
The Plusrite Sensor Downlight is designed for bright, clear illumination in general use and task-specific areas such as hallways, stairwells, living rooms and garages. In commercial settings they are ideal in showrooms, retail spaces, entrances, corridors, store rooms and more. With an IP44 protection rating, they are also safe to use in bathrooms, kitchens and restrooms with the motion sensor feature adding convenience, safety and security in high-traffic areas.
Energy-efficient motion sensor downlight
The Plusrite Sensor Downlight will provide illumination at 100% brightness when triggered, with a detection span of 5-7 metres. After 5 minutes of no detection, it will switch off automatically, saving energy when not in use. This automation brings convenience to the modern home, business or organisation, with advantages for customer service and overall security. The Plusrite 10W Sensor Downlight has a high output of around 95 lumens per watt, delivering strong LED illumination, for little energy.
Reliable, high-grade illumination with no glare
The Plusrite Sensor Downlight provides bright, colour-accurate illumination through a frosted lens, minimising shadows and glare. High-grade SMD2835 LED chips deliver superior illumination at 850-950 lumens, with a high CRI of 80. The ability to switch colour temperature options via a switch at the back of the unit, means you can choose either 3K, 4K or 5K CCT for a warm, medium or cool white light. The wide 120Âş beam angle provides continuity across medium to large spaces where bright, clear and uniform light distribution is required.
IC-F and IC-4 rated LED sensor downlight
The Plusrite Sensor Downlight is both IC-F and IC-4 rated, meaning that it can be safely touched and covered with insulation and has passed stringent testing for fire safety in line with Australian Standards. Having these ratings ensures fire safety, optimises the thermal effectiveness of your insulation (it can be laid with no gaps) and reduces the complexity of the installation; providing further cost savings.
The Plusrite Sensor Downlight has an ingress protection rating of IP44 protecting it from solid objects larger than 1 mm such as most wires, screws, and small tools. It is also protected from light water splashes or spray from any direction, making it safe to install in bathrooms, kitchens and laundries.
