The Plusrite 6m Hinged Light Pole (AL-6M-Black) is a black, tapered octagonal steel pole for solar street lighting and area lighting. At just over 6 metres, it is the tallest pole in our hinged range, suited to roads, car parks and large open areas where the light needs to cover more ground. It comes with its own foundation cage.

Hinged for easy access

The pole is hinged, so the upper section can be lowered to bring the light within reach. Maintenance and adjustments can be done from the ground, without a boom lift or tall ladder. Two anti-theft bolts hold the pole secure when it is upright.

Compatible lights

The 76mm spigot suits the bracket on our solar slim area lights, which fits poles from 60mm to 76mm:

• 30W Solar Slim Area Light
• 120W Solar Slim Area Light

To mount two lights at 180°, add the U Bracket for 76mm Pole (AL-2U-76MM).

Choosing a pole height

Taller poles spread light over a wider area, with a little less brightness at ground level. A 6m pole suits streets, car parks and large open areas. For paths, driveways and smaller spaces, the 3m or 4m hinged pole may be a better fit. Taller poles also need a stronger foundation, which is why the 6m pole comes with a 900mm cage.
