Eco-friendly solar street lighting

The Plusrite 240W LED Solar Street Light runs entirely on solar and no connection to mains power is needed (no electrical cables and no energy bills). This provides a unique, low maintenance option for remote and rural locations with limited (or no) access to mains power and community projects with sustainability in mind. Inbuilt polycrystalline 10V 39W solar panels power your lighting and the rechargeable 42000mAh Lithium battery, providing an efficient 6-8 hours charge time and 12-14 hours discharge time.

Remote control with 2 modes

The Plusrite 240W LED Solar Street Light comes with a built-in dusk-to-dawn sensor and remote control for alternating between modes, based on your unique needs and application.

• Mode 1: Motion Sensor Mode (starts with 100% lumen output then reverts to standby at 30% lumen output where there is no motion after dusk).
• Mode 2: Constant 100% brightness after dusk.

Motion sensor dimming saves energy between infrequent people movement and traffic, bringing further energy-savings. This offers reduced running time, preserved battery life and increased longevity of the appliance (with added benefits to security and surveillance applications too). There are also 4-hour and 6-hour timer options for light operation after dusk prior to turning off.

This provides excellent visibility and safety in poorly lit areas.

High-quality, compliant and built for purpose

An ingress protection rating of IP65 protects the Plusrite 240W Solar LED Street Light against solid particles and liquid ingress in environments where there may be dust or water sprays. The unit also complies with AS/NZS 1158.3.1:2020 – sufficient visibility for public use and safety.

The Plusrite 240W Solar LED Street Light is built to Australian Standards, is SAA Certified (Electrical Product Safety Approval Certification) and compliant with RCM (Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS) and C-Tick (ACMA-mandated Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards). It is also compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances or Directive 2002/95/EC) and CE (EU) standards. What does IP65 mean?

An “IP” Code classifies and rates the degrees of protection provided against the intrusion of solid objects, dust, accidental contact and water in electronic equipment or electrical enclosures. An ingress protection rating of IP65, means that the product is dust proof and protected from low-pressure water-jet sprays from every direction. What does colour temperature mean in lighting?

When we speak of ‘colour temperature’ in lighting, we are referring to the appearance and ambience created by a light source. Lower colour temperatures can produce a reddish glow (oranges and yellows) and higher colour temperatures will produce blues. This is where the terms ‘warm white’ or ‘cool white’ are used. Colour temperatures are measured in the ‘Kelvin’ (K) scale (e.g. 6000K cool white).
