Solar Street Light Poles

All Plusrite Street Light Poles are designed for and compatible with our full range of post-top lighting. Standard 3M and 4M street light poles are available as well as Hinged Light Poles (also in 3M and 4M), all with custom foundation cages. We also have multiple custom brackets available for securing your lighting units to the light poles, which will be included where required in your lighting design and quotation. 

Solar Flood Lights

Plusrite LED Solar Flood Lights provide bright illumination on demand. Our range includes various sizes, wattages (up to 600W) and lumen outputs. They feature polycrystalline solar panels and long-life lithium batteries with options including built-in dusk to dawn sensors, remote control and motion sensors which dim the light to 30% when no movement is detected.

Solar flood lights are ideal for building perimeters and security lighting in public spaces, schools and university grounds, sports clubs, transport and logistics depots, car dealership yards, equipment storage areas, construction worksites, agricultural properties and more. Our team will recommend the solar lighting type appropriate to your space including the required hardware and quantities. All Plusrite solar lighting comes with a three-year warranty.

Solar lighting installation 

Plusrite solar lighting requires no connection to mains power, so it can be self-installed, without the need for an electrical contractor. However installation can be tricky and if you do require assistance with installation, we would be happy to package this into your quotation. 

Plusrite Street Light Poles come with custom foundation cages and can be installed by:

• Digging a square hole in the selected location (for the tapered/hinged light pole, the hole is 333mm x 333mm x 700mm deep).
• Inserting the cage into the hole and pouring concrete around the cage. The hole should be filled to the point that only the four bolts at the top of the cage are showing. Note, it is very important to ensure that the cage is level, before pouring the concrete. 
• Once the concrete is dry, attach the assembled pole to the bolts at the top of the cage and tighten the nuts. 
• Mount the lighting unit/s on the pole top using either the bolts provided (or separate brackets also available from Plusrite), which screw into the light to secure it. Our team will advise you whether additional brackets are required for your specific setup.
• If you are installing the tapered light pole, the hinge can be used to angle the pole to 90° to then install the lighting unit. For our regular light poles, Plusrite can arrange assistance from an experienced installer to dig the appropriate-sized hole for the cage, erect the pole and install your new street lighting safely and efficiently.

Plusrite’s high-quality lighting (and light poles) are built to Australian Standards, is SAA Certified (Electrical Product Safety Approval Certification) and compliant with RCM (Electrical Equipment Safety System (EESS) and C-Tick (ACMA-mandated Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) standards). Our lighting is also compliant with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances or Directive 2002/95/EC), NOM (Mexico) and CE (EU) standards.
